I was born in Belgium but fell in love with South Africa during a visit 25 years ago. I decided to stay and make it home. Started working with Woolworths at the end of the previous century and loved it. Passionate about flavour. I particularly enjoy driving product innovation and sustainability. I live in the Winelands with my wife Farah and our three teenage children. I’m a keen swimmer and an enthusiastic yet slow runner. Love electronic music and have a weakness for music festivals. Aspiring vegetarian.

As General Manager of Fruition Fruit, Andrea oversees operations with a strong focus on quality, customer relationships and premium fresh produce solutions. With years of hands-on industry experience, she leads with a practical approach and a commitment to excellence across the business. Outside work, she enjoys time with family and friends, plants and gardening, and the balance between business and everyday life. She values strong relationships, hard work and authenticity.

Chief Financial Officer

Barry

Being the CFO of the Unlimited Group for the past 13 years has been undoubtedly his crowning achievement of his professional career.

Even though his role is finance, his passion has always been people and to see personal growth in the staff is fulfilling. As a director of Unlimited Group this is one of his key objectives.

Growing up, however, his first choice of a career would was to become a sports commentator. When Barry isn’t busy with all things Fruition and UG, you’ll find him commentating on a South African Rugby game from home. And, yes, we are winning!

Commercial Manager

Lauren

As Commercial Manager, Lauren brings extensive fruit industry experience and a results-driven approach to Fruition’s commercial success. Her role focuses on achieving targets, developing people and building trusted relationships with growers and customers. She works to align market needs with high-quality produce, the right varieties and breeding programmes, helping drive innovation and competitiveness. Outside work, she values family, friendships and a healthy work-life balance.

General Packhouse Manager

Cleo

As General Packhouse Manager, Cleo brings strong experience in fruit operations, quality systems and process improvement. With a background as Technical Manager, she combines technical oversight, packhouse management, stock and systems administration to keep daily operations running smoothly. She is driven by precision, efficiency and continuous improvement. Outside work, she enjoys travel, agricultural developments, gardening, growing her own produce and trying new recipes.

Logistics Manager

Jani

As Logistics Manager at Fruition Fruit, Jani oversees the movement of fresh produce from farm to market, ensuring efficiency, quality and reliability across the supply chain. Her role centres on coordination, problem-solving and operational excellence, supporting timely delivery and the high standards customers expect. Outside work, she enjoys an active lifestyle, especially cycling and fitness, reflecting the discipline, focus and performance mindset she brings to her role.

Technical Compliance Coordinator

Marcia

As Technical Compliance Coordinator, Marcia manages Fruition’s food safety systems and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. She also supports the systems and applications used across quality control, production and dispatch. Her agricultural foundation began in a rural environment and grew through formal studies in Commercial Mixed Farming and Agriculture. Naturally introverted, she values quiet time with her family.

Sustainability Officer

Zozi

As Sustainability Officer for The Unlimited Group, Zozi drives the integration of sustainable practices across the business, ensuring environmental and social responsibility are embedded throughout our operations and supply chain. With Masters in Sustainable Agriculture and farming experience, she brings practical insight into sustainable agriculture, supplier engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives. She has been actively supporting Fruition suppliers through the Farming for the Future audit process, helping them strengthen sustainable farming practices and meet audit requirements. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and building meaningful connections.

Financial Manager

Cornelis

As Financial Manager at Fruition Fruit, Cornelis oversees the company’s financial operations and supports sustainable growth through sound financial management and strategic decision-making. He values strong relationships, mutual respect and collaboration, and takes pride in helping create a positive working environment where people can perform at their best. Outside work, he enjoys padel, golf, time outdoors, good food, fine wine and time with family and friends.

I believe that the Human Resource department plays a crucial role in creating and upholding organizational structure and uniformity. It fosters efficient communication between managers and employees to promote effective operations.

I hold a deep enthusiasm for my profession, driven by a strong conviction to enact meaningful change. My wellspring of energy comes from my family and the vibrancy of live concerts.

Development Manager

Johan

Johan plays a crucial role in Table Grape ARC research and as a table grape producer, greatly benefiting Fruition. He explores newly bred and captivating grape varieties for the company.

During South African Grape season, he is frequently in the vineyards. In the import season, he accompanies the WW team to selected farms in Europe and Egypt. His involvement in FPIA (Fresh Producers Importer Association) is advantageous, focusing on expanding South Africa’s grape variety options. He’s passionate about tracking agricultural advancements and research breakthroughs.
